We are pleased to present the Annual Report for FY 2009 for the National Pancreas Foundation to you. The theme of this report is courage – the quality or spirit that enables a person to face difficulty, danger, pain without fear. We believe our patients; family members; caregivers and the medical community live with courage every day.
In talking with patients, family members and the medical community, we realize how much of a mystery these diseases remain and as a result how challenging and frustrating it is for the patients and those who care for them.
As you read our Annual Report, please remember all of the people who have contributed to bring National Pancreas Foundation to where we are today-positioned to raise more funds, reach more people and support the medical community in their battle for cures for pancreatic cancer and all forms of pancreatitis. You are a member of that courageous team.
