Since a severe bout of pancreatitis over 2 years ago, I have been plagued with incredible itches and rashes on the bottom of my back, outside my thighs, above my ankles, you name it. I never know. Are these related to the pancreatitis. A dermatologist said excema, but nothing he prescribed worked. I don’t drink alcohol, eat fried foods, or much dairy. Any thoughts or what this might be? Also … I keep getting sharp and incapacitating pain on my upper left side below my left breast. Sometimes it comes and goes, and other times it is unrelenting and days on end. Could it be pancreas related? No one ever talks about the pancreas, and my internist said he would have hospitalized me for appendecitis not pancreatitis even though I had my appendix removed at age 21. Help!
