Phillip P. Toskes, MD

Dr. Toskes is a professor in the Department of Medicine at the University of Florida College of Medicine in Gainesville, Florida. He is an international authority on pancreatic disorders and malabsorptive disorders and has received numerous awards both nationally and internationally for his contributions to gastroenterology and health care reform. Dr. Toskes is listed in Marquis Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in American Medicine and Who’s Who in American Health Care. He has been repeatedly listed in Woodward and White’s The Best Doctors in America. He has chaired several boards and committees, including the Digestive Health Initiative, the National Digestive Disease Advisory Board to Congress and the NIH and the Committee on Subspecialty Medicine for the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Toskes has served as President of the Southern Society for Clinical Investigation, the American Pancreatic Association and the Florida Gastroenterological Society. Dr. Toskes’s dedication to discovering improved diagnostic and treatment methods is obvious. Dr. Toskes has also contributed over four hundred articles and serves on the editorial boards of several prestigious journals. Dr. Toskes resides in Gainesville, Florida.
