Suzanne Fisher Bloomberg

Ms. Bloomberg has been an active member of the non-profit community for 20 years. Her real commitment emerged after her husband fell victim to pancreatic cancer and died at the age of 39. For 15 years, she has served on the board of The Friends of Dana-Farber, as Vice-President of Fundraising, Executive VP, and most recently as chairperson for Fashion Target Breast Cancer. She was the 1999 recipient of the Sidney Farber Volunteer Award.

When her friend Jane Holt founded the NPF, she was eager to become involved. Helping the Foundation with fundraising stems from her background in education and professional experiences. She received a BS from the College of Communication at Boston University and has worked in public relations, taught American Literature, and was the co-president of Positive Impressions, a non–profit organization that facilitated women’s entry into the workforce by providing interview appropriate clothing to low income women.

Ms. Bloomberg also sits on The Board of The Boston Landmarks Orchestra, The Max Warburg Courage Curriculum, and is a member of The Boston Medical Center Leadership Council. She lives in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts.
