Catie McGilvray

Director of Compliance and Patient Registry

Catie McGilvray has been with the NPF since 2015. She is responsible for leading the development and management of the patient registry initiative, which aims to establish a national repository of patient-reported outcomes to aid in the fight against pancreatic disease. 

With more than 15 years of experience in clinical research, regulatory compliance, and health data management, Catie is passionate about leveraging data to improve the overall patient experience, health outcomes, treatment options, and quality of medical care. She has co-authored various research publications in gastroenterology, surgical oncology, and hematology. 

Catie holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology, as well as a degree in Health Informatics. She is a Certified Tumor Registrar with the National Cancer Registrars Association and has earned several certifications in information technology and project management. 

Catie brings a personal perspective to NPF as a family caregiver. As she understands the challenges of navigating chronic health conditions, she is devoted to supporting and empowering patients, families, and caregivers. 

In her spare time, Catie enjoys spending time with her loved ones and traveling to learn about other cultures. As a Korean adoptee, her travels took her to South Korea to reunite with her birth family in 2018.
