Dina Stults is a Senior Operations Manager at NIKE Inc. where she leads philanthropic operations within the areas of Social & Community Impact, Global Sustainability, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, and the Nike Foundation. Dina is also an expert in crisis management and disaster response.
Dina is a native Portuguese with a degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from Universidade Moderna. After graduation, she spent several years in Holland before moving to the West Coast of the United States in 2006. Currently living in Oregon, Dina is married and has two beautiful daughters, Jessica, age 19 and Julia, age 12. Since arriving in Oregon, Dina has held several volunteer positions including work as a court-appointed child advocate (CASA) specializing in teen advocacy, and membership on a diversity and inclusion council (LEDIC) for Clackamas county. Living with autoimmune chronic illness has taught Dina a lot, but it was the moment she took on the role of caregiver for her youngest daughter, who lives with ulcerative colitis and autoimmune pancreatitis, that she found a passion for advocacy and patient care in the health field. Dina became a strong advocate not just for her own daughter and family but also for other patients and families struggling with similar illnesses.
In her free time, Dina loves to read, write, travel, and share the occasional movie night or tv show with her family. Dina also practices and teaches meditation and mindfulness. Find out more: LinkedIn, Twitter, Gaia Nova
