What inspired you to run for the NPF? I’m running in honor of my mother-in-law was recently diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer (February 2019) she is currently undergoing chemotherapy. She is having major success with the treatment!
Three words that would describe you? Resilient, Good-humored, Committed
What sitcom would you want to live in and why? Parks and Recreation, I think I would fit right in with the government employees in Pawnee.
If You Could Eliminate One Thing From Daily Routine, What Would It Be And Why? Meal prepping. If there was a cheap enough option out there, I’d jump on it in a heartbeat.
Would you rather every shirt you ever wear be kind of itchy or only be able to use 1 ply toilet paper? 1 ply toilet paper… I spent 4 years in the Marines so I could handle that but definitely not itchy shirts for life.
Favorite place to run? Or your happy place? Southern California, specifically Encinitas, CA. Always great to paddle out for a dawn patrol surf session and a run or bike ride a little later.
Favorite race and why? Arizona 70.3 in Tempe, AZ. It was my first half Ironman and it was a big accomplishment for me. The heat was tough but I was able to complete it with a respectable time.
Would you rather live without the internet or live without AC and heating? Definitely would rather live without AC and heating. I’ll get a fan and invest in some decent winter clothes. I love having access to pretty much anything I want to know thanks to the internet.
Would you rather have a horrible short-term memory or a horrible long-term memory? I would rather have a horrible short-term memory since I kind of already have that. If it wasn’t for me always updating my Google calendar, I’d be lost. Oh, and it helps my wife has an incredible memory…good enough for the both of us.
