What inspired you to run for the NPF? I am inspired to run with NPF because of how supportive the organization has been working with the FCS Foundation. Their support and knowledge in the field of pancreatitis, support services, and advice while we grow our organization has been instrumental.
What sitcom would you want to live in and why? How I Met Your Mother- they remind me of my friends from college, it’s witty and who wouldn’t want to live above their favorite bar?
If You Could Eliminate One Thing From Daily Routine, What Would It Be And Why? Toss-up between packing school lunches and laundry. Even when they pick it out themselves they are never happy and no matter how much laundry I do there is always more!
Would you rather every shirt you ever wear be kind of itchy or only be able to use 1 ply toilet paper? Definitely 1 ply toilet paper.
Your go-to meal before a race? Banana, half a bagel with almond butter, Gatorade/water mix.
Favorite place to run? Or your happy place? Running on the beach- its never a struggle to get up and run with that backdrop!
Favorite race and why? Boston Run to Remember half marathon-flat and fast and running surrounded by first responders and law enforcement is incredibly moving.
Would you rather live without the internet or live without AC and heating? I would never give up the internet. I’m always cold anyway so bring on the layers and I don’t mind being hot!
What’s one thing about you that surprises people? Two of my three babies were homebirths. TMI?
