“Pancreas Diseases Educational Symposium: Diagnosis, Treatment Care and Support for patients, caregivers & families”

The main goals are to increase understanding of the immediate and long-term impact of pancreatitis on health, ability to function; to discuss the approach to getting your voice heard; approaches through mindfulness as method of pain relief and helping you understand if a total pancreatectomy is right for you.We will also discuss updates and resources available at the National Pancreas Foundation (the NPF) national office, the local chapter and the approved centers in the State of Illinois.
Experts from Northwestern Memorial Hospital and the NPF will be on hand to share important information and answer your questions about pancreatitis.

Pancreas Disease is no Trivial Matter

Please join us for an afternoon of fun, noshing on appetizers and trivia. We will gather to remember Rob Ericson and raise money for researching a cure for pancreatic disease – pancreatic cancer and pancreatitis (the disease that took Rob’s life).
Every attendee will receive a gift bag. We will also have:
*Silent Auction – 3 sets of Cubs tickets
*Raffle Baskets – Raffle tickets are 2 for $10 or 5 for $20
*50/50 Raffle – At the end of the event, the money will be counted and 50% of the money collected will go to the winning ticket holder and 50% will go to the NPF
*Sports Memorabilia – Bid on autographed jerseys, photos, balls, caps
Ask your friends, family members and neighbors to attend with you. Let’s grow this event! If each of you invites one person and they attend, we have doubled our attendance.

Join us for an evening of fun and casino games as we raise money to end pancreas disease and remember Rob Ericson.
