MONTHLY SuPPORT GROUP
Join us for our monthly support group. The support groups are for patients, family members, and caregivers to attend to learn more about pancreas disease.
Each month will have a different location, so the best update is through the Ohio/Kentucky Facebook Group.
The next support groups are:
February 10, 2019 at 3pm (Panera Bread, 5090 Tiedeman Rd, Brooklyn, OH)
February 23, 2019 at 4pm (Panera Bread, 1534 Bardstown Rd, Louisville, KY)
March 21, 2019 at 6:30 – A dietician will be present to answer any questions (45 River Street, Delaware, OH 43015)

The National Pancreas Foundation Ohio-Kentucky Chapter and the The Pancreas Care Center of the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center jointly host a Patient, Caregiver and Family Centered Care for Pancreatic Diseases educational event. The main goals are to increase understanding of the immediate and long-term impact of pancreatitis on health, ability to function; to discuss the approach to getting your voice heard; approaches through mindfulness as method of pain relief and helping you understand if a total pancreatectomy is right for you. We will also discuss updates and resources available at the National Pancreas Foundation National Office, the NPF OH-KY Chapter and the approved centers in the State of Ohio.

The Ohio-Kentucky Chapter of the National Pancreas Foundation is holding our signature Cincinnati Party for a Cure cocktail party and auction.
On this special occasion, we will be honoring Dr. Tom K. Lin, Associate Director of Cincinnati Children’s Pancreas Care Center, with the Nobility in Science Award.
Proceeds from this event will go to support the National Pancreas Foundation and an exciting new program to help the transportation needs of pediatric patients at Cincinnati Children’s Pancreas Care Center, one of the only centers in the United States that is dedicated to caring for children with pancreatic diseases.
