The Ohio-Kentucky Chapter of the National Pancreas Foundation is holding our signature Cincinnati Party for a Cure cocktail party and auction on Friday, September 28, 2018 from 6:30-9:30 pm, at Drees Pavilion at Devou Memorial Overlook located at 790 Park Lane, Covington, KY 41011.
On this special occasion, we will be honoring Dr. Tom K. Lin, Associate Director of Cincinnati Children’s Pancreas Care Center, with the Nobility in Science Award.
Proceeds from this event will go to support the National Pancreas Foundation and an exciting new program to help the transportation needs of pediatric patients at Cincinnati Children’s Pancreas Care Center, one of the only centers in the United States that is dedicated to caring for children with pancreatic diseases.

The University of Michigan and the National Pancreas Foundation Michigan Chapter will jointly host a second Patient and Family Centered Care for Pancreatic Diseases educational event.
The main goals are to increase understanding of the immediate and long-term impact of pancreatitis on health, ability to function and work and medical coverage; to discuss the approach to complex care and to highlight causes and the approaches to chronic pain. We will also discuss updates and resources available at the National Pancreas Foundation (NPF) National Office, the NPF Michigan Chapter and the University of Michigan NPF center of excellence.
Donna Fox, RN, MSW, Director of Complex Care Program, University of Michigan will deliver the keynote address entitled, Navigating life and care with pancreatitis: Approach to complex care.
The event is free and open to all physicians, patients and caregivers.

Assumption College Women’s Soccer and the National Pancreas Foundation will team up to host a Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Game, when the Hounds place Pace University at 7 pm!

The NPF MCM team will be running the marathon and 10K to raise money for research and in honor of those suffering from pancreas disease.
Selected as a charity partner for the 2018 CNO Financial Indianapolis Monumental Marathon, the NPF is looking for a group of people to run in the name of finding a cure, in memory/in honor of a loved one, or supporting an organization that provides hope and courage to those suffering from pancreas disease.
Distances are: marathon, half-marathon, and 5K!
Voted as one of the biggest marathons in the U.S. – this race is an ideal fall marathon!
