Selected as a charity partner for the 2018 CNO Financial Indianapolis Monumental Marathon, the NPF is looking for a group of people to run in the name of finding a cure, in memory/in honor of a loved one, or supporting an organization that provides hope and courage to those suffering from pancreas disease.
Distances are: marathon, half-marathon, and 5K!
Voted as one of the biggest marathons in the U.S. – this race is an ideal fall marathon!

It’s a Party for a Cure! Join the National Pancreas Foundation Massachusetts Chapter on Thursday, November 8, 2018 from 6:30-9:30 pm, at The Harvard Club located in Back Bay (374 Commonwealth Avenue, Boston, MA 02115).
Please join us to support NPF research and its mission to find cures for all pancreatic diseases – cancer (the third leading cause of cancer deaths in the U.S.) and pediatric, acute and chronic pancreatitis.

The cost is $25 per person.
Your registration fee includes two hours of bowling, shoe rental, taco buffet and drinks. Bowling will be followed by a raffle and silent auction.

For those in New Orleans, the Louisiana chapter of the National Pancreas Foundation will host its first fundraiser at Times Grill in Mandeville, Louisiana where 15% of the proceeds that night go to the NPF. The National Pancreas Foundation North Carolina Chapter and Duke University Medical Center, Division of Gastroenterology jointly host a Patient, Caregiver and Family Centered Care for Pancreatic Diseases educational event.
The main goals are to increase understanding of the immediate and long-term impact of pancreatitis on health, ability to function; to discuss the approach to getting your voice heard; approaches through mindfulness as method of pain relief and helping you understand if a total pancreatectomy is right for you. We will also discuss updates and resources available at the National Pancreas Foundation (NPF) National Office, the NPF North Carolina Chapter and the approved centers at Duke University and the Carolinas Medical Center.
