Take me out to the ball game! For those in the Washington, DC area we have Bowie Baysox Tickets. Tickets are $13 a person (all ages) and $5.00 of each ticket sold when using the “special offer code” NPF2018, will go back to our the NPF.

We have also received 20 complimentary tickets for Pancreatic Cancer Survivors* and a guest. They will be first come, first served. Please contact us at info@pancreasfoundation.org to receive these tickets.

*If they would like to participate in the on-field ceremony and show solidarity for those that are fighting cancer every day, please arrive at the ballpark by 5:30pm. Those that wish to participate can check in at the WTOP Fan Assistance Center on the 3rd base concourse by 5:50pm. The pre-game ceremony with survivors fellow survivors will begin on the field at 6:05pm. A Baysox representative will gather all survivors at the WTOP Fan Assistance Center and escort them to the field at 5:50pm.

The main goals are to increase understanding of the immediate and long-term impact of pancreatitis on health, ability to function; to discuss the approach to getting your voice heard; approaches through mindfulness as method of pain relief and helping you understand if a total pancreatectomy is right for you. We will also discuss updates and resources available at the National Pancreas Foundation (NPF) National Office, the NPF North Carolina Chapter and the approved centers at Duke University and the Carolinas Medical Center.
