The mission of The National Pancreas Foundation (NPF) is to provide hope and improve the lives of those affected by pancreatic disease through education, support, and advocacy. The NPF Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Program further supports this mission by empowering APPs through education, collaboration, and connection—bringing together providers dedicated to pancreatic disease care.
“APPs are on the front lines of patient management, education, and care coordination. The NPF APP Program fosters a collaborative environment to share expertise, develop resources, and promote best practices that improve patient outcomes. By supporting professional growth and strengthening interdisciplinary communication, the program advances The NPF mission while uniting APPs committed to pancreatic disease.”
– Christie Heinzman, DNP, APRN, Nationwide Children’s Hospital
