When: March 22, 2023 | Time: 7:00 PM (EST)

There are a number of causes of pancreatic disease. Often ...patients are accused of alcohol abuse because of an impression that alcohol is the only cause. In addition, pancreatic diseases cause much pain and suffering with the need of pain relief. Sometimes tests for pancreatitis are not definitive resulting in patients being accused of drug seeking behavior.

The National Pancreas Foundation has assembled a group of experts to explore these issues and provide suggestions on how to deal with acquaintances and medical staff to improve understanding. In this webinar, we will learn ways to:
• Teach about the causes of pancreatitis and approaches to determine the cause.
• Provide approaches to inform medical professionals about causes and treatments.
• Give suggestions about how to discuss causes of pancreatitis and needs with family and acquaintances.
• Discuss integrative medicine approaches such as nutrition, lifestyle modifications, yoga, massage, and acupuncture.
• Hear more about NPF’s Patient Registry Program

Join us for this free, 75-minute webinar where we will:

• Gain knowledge from experts on causes and treatments for pancreatitis.
